My name is Celina Moralez and I am a professional certified wedding and event planner. My work focuses more on coordinating than planning, but they do go hand in hand; you can’t coordinate without a plan. Short Story: I absolutely love this industry and I didn’t know how much I loved it until I watched “The Wedding Planner” starring J-Lo. It was March of 2020 when I was working at Ruby’s Diner and going to community college. I was lost, I was bored, and I wanted more. One night, I played the film and as I was watching, the only thing I kept imagining was “I can do that, I can totally do that.” I was already planning all kinds of events for my coworkers, family, and friends and the best part was how much I loved doing it! At the very moment I saw “Fin” on the T.V. screen, I jumped out of my bed, logged into my college portal and without hesitation, I dropped all my courses. That was the start of my journey.

Hobbies: I love to watch movies, travel, exercise, and sleep. I also have a bird, which is a huge inspiration to my company name because I Love Birds … and fun fact: birds are monogamous, so they choose one mate for their entire life.

I have come a long way and one of the most important things to consider is that it is stressful trying to plan everything on your own or having a family/friend do the work for you. I, too, will have a coordinator on my wedding day because feeling at ease is what everyone needs.
